Dyeing Polyester Satin Wedding Dresses
We often dye dresses made from polyester satin. Polyester satin dresses can only be dyed light colors due to the complexity of the dyeing process.

Dyeing Polyester Chiffon Wedding Dresses
We dye polyester chiffon dresses daily. Just like polyester satin, chiffon can only be dyed light colors. Although, it can be dyed slightly darker than satin because the fabric is more sheer and absorbs dye more easily.

Dyeing Silk Wedding Dresses
Silk dresses dye great and can be dyed any color, including black. Silk tends to shrink slightly from dyeing. Usually, about three to five percent. If your dress fits snug now, we recommend not dyeing it. Dark colors are dyed very hot which increases the amount of shrinkage. Light colors are dyed at a lower temperature so shrinkage is minimal.

Dyeing Dresses With Lace and Beading
| All wedding dresses are dyed by hand to avoid any damage that could be caused by machine dyeing. This ensures that lace and beading stays intact, in the original condition. Lace may dye slightly different than the main fabric if the fibers are different. Beading does not absorb dye and will remain the original color. |
